Review draft · 26 October 2026
Community rules
Be heard, not seen. Speak honestly, respect each other's privacy, and leave room for people from every language and culture.
Express yourself without hurting others
Imagination, fiction, poetry, controversial opinions and sharing difficult feelings are welcome. Describing violence or abuse you experienced is allowed; promoting harm against real people is not. Threats, incitement to violence, hate speech, targeted harassment, humiliation and encouragement of self-harm are not. Disagree respectfully; do not attack a person or a community.
Replies should be supportive, not hostile or shaming. You do not need to solve someone's problems to let them know they are heard.
Protect everyone's privacy
Do not post real names identifying yourself or others, person-linked locations, contact details or combinations of details that identify a real person. Clearly fictional characters and imaginary places are welcome, but must not disguise real-world targeting. Do not try to discover, expose or contact a thought's author outside the service.
Think carefully before revealing identifying details about yourself. Choosing a country tag is optional. Your public words can still reveal more than you intend, even without your name.
Keep the space safe and genuine
No sexual content involving minors, exploitation, illegal content, spam, scams, deceptive promotions or impersonation. Do not manipulate engagement or referral rewards, bypass safety checks, or use multiple accounts to abuse others.
Use the language you feel comfortable with. Do not judge someone for their culture, background, beliefs or the way they express themselves.
Moderation and concerns
An automated safety check reviews new thoughts and replies before they appear. It may block submissions and can make mistakes. Private journal reflections are not subject to this public-content check.
To flag a harmful thought or reply, or ask about a blocked submission, email info@worldunheard.com with enough detail to locate the content. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Report controls and blocked-submission questions open your email app after a privacy notice; nothing is sent automatically. Your email may identify you to the safety team. Blocking and a formal staffed review process still need finalization; no response time or outcome is guaranteed.
If you need urgent help
This feed is not monitored as an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number or seek nearby help.
In the United States or Canada, call or text 988 for suicide and crisis support. In other countries, find local support at Find A Helpline. Availability and services vary by location.
