Privacy policy
Your name is not displayed with your thoughts or replies. Here is what that means, what the service stores, and where anonymity has limits.
1. Public reading and anonymous sharing
Anyone can read thoughts and replies without an account. An account is required to post or reply. Public content can be seen, copied, shared or captured by others, including people outside World Unheard.
Public readers cannot see the account identifier attached to your thoughts or replies. Internally, content is linked to your account to support your private history and operate the service. Anonymous posting is not a guarantee that your own words cannot identify you. Avoid names, addresses, workplace details and other identifying information.
2. Information used by the service
Account information includes your email address, account identifier and sign-in information. Google or Apple sign-in also involves information supplied by that provider for authentication.
We store your thoughts, replies, their timestamps, selected language and group, reactions, group memberships, referral codes and reward records. A country tag on a thought is optional and is displayed only when you choose it; the service does not automatically assign your posting country.
Your journal reflections are stored separately with access restricted to your account. They are not public and are not sent through the public-content moderation check.
3. Views and reach
Only signed-in readers contribute to view counts. This feature stores aggregate counts rather than reader identifiers or IP addresses. Where hosting supplies a country code, it is used for coarse reach totals, not for tagging the author. Country names in reach results are shown only after at least five views.
A first-party cookie remembers recently counted thoughts for up to one day to reduce repeated counting. This is not a unique-person measurement. Hosting and service providers may separately process technical information, such as IP addresses, for delivery, security and logs.
4. Why information is processed
Information is used to sign you in, publish your chosen content, provide private history and reflections, manage groups and referrals, calculate aggregate engagement, and check public content for safety.
New thoughts and replies are sent to the Lovable AI moderation service before publication. Do not include private information in public submissions. Automated moderation can make mistakes.
5. Providers and device storage
Lovable Cloud provides hosting, account services and data storage, and Lovable provides AI moderation. Google and Apple participate when you choose their sign-in options. External fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which requires a request from your device. Providers may process information in countries different from yours under their own applicable terms.
Your browser stores sign-in session information, selected interface language, a pending referral code and whether you dismissed the welcome guide. Signing out ends your active session; clearing browser storage removes local preferences but does not delete your account or published content.
6. Retention, access and deletion
You can permanently delete your account in Account settings. After confirmation, your account, thoughts, replies, reactions, journal reflections, group memberships and associated referral records and credits are removed from the live service. Replies and engagement attached to your deleted thoughts are also removed. This cannot be undone.
Aggregate views on other people's thoughts are not linked to your identity and cannot be attributed to your account for deletion. This action does not erase copies shared by others or provider backups and security logs. Retention periods and handling of backups and provider logs must still be finalized before submission.
To request access, correction or deletion, email info@worldunheard.com from your account email. We may need to verify account ownership. Do not send passwords. Your rights depend on applicable law; this draft does not limit those rights. Copies already shared by other people may remain outside our control.
7. Important limits and updates
No online service can guarantee absolute security or anonymity. This service is not designed for sharing confidential records or emergency information. Children's eligibility and age safeguards must be finalized before store submission.
The date at the top identifies this review draft. Material changes to the final policy should be communicated before they take effect where required by law.
